Thanks TJ, yes it was done in illustrator. I wish I could say it was entirely free hand on a blank page, but it wasn't. I traced the outline of a picture of myself with the pen with a single stroke, then added in the extra stuff inside. I applied a brush stroke but it was really "brushy" so I roughly traced around the outside of it with the pen tool again. It came out pretty nice. Very stylized artsyish I guess. There are a few edges and tapers that could be better but its good enough as it is now.
Anyhoo, I emailed it to my 'rents to get a quote on how much it will cost to digitize to embroider on some polo's or something. Perhaps the back of a jacket. I can put whatever text I want to underneath it.Comment
