Where the motor is sitting right now, there are NO mods necessary for the shift linkage. We are even using a factory trans mount. We didnt have to build custom motor mounts either...
Without modifying the firewall, we could have only located the motor an inch further backwards, which would have eliminated the need for a custom driveline, at the cost of custom motor brackets. In my eyes A custom driveshaft is a better alternative than custom motor mounts and custom shift linkage, but we all have different opinions. The M42 is much shorter than the M20 as wellJoe Funk -- Portland Oregon
