I am getting 1080i & it looks great. One of the cameras in the game looking at the Colts during the kickoff at about 11:15 of the second Had moisture on it but otherwise both the game and the commercials look great here.
I have no interest in the Super Bowl. I am recording it and fast forwarding through the game for the commercials. Man the HiDef looks great!
:D
I did exactly the same thing. Most of the commercials were sub-par this year, but there were a few good ones. The office in the jungle series was pretty good, a couple of the Bud Light ones also.
The Tundra ad where it went over the giant see-saw was more interesting to me because it explained the bizarre contraption I saw a little off the 395 south of Bishop a couple of weeks ago.

The gorilla and camera one was pretty funny too. I got great 1080i picture over here. But, I gotta say, the smudge and moisture on the cameras was really pissing me off. Pretty good game though...well first half.
The office fight in the jungle was great too...only the one where they were literally fighting though. The guy that had the keyboard on his chest was classic.
Yup, it really was exactly like it looked on TV. It was about a quarter mile off the highway and I remember thinking it was like some strange few hundred-foot-long bridge from nowhere to nowhere with ramps on either end. When I saw it the center section was sitting horizontal so the "bridge" section didn't align with either ramp. There were a bunch of cars, trailers, and other equipment out there so they were either filming the ad that day or were getting ready to dismantle the rig. It was on January 15th that I saw it so they probably had already filmed the ad...
