    Thinking about driving to Seattle

Well for spring break this year my 2 friends and I were thinking about driving to Seattle. My one friend was raised there and I think it would be a blast to drive out to the west coast. It'd be about a 33 hour drive which is veryyyy long. I was thinking we would hit up seattle then vancouver? Any opinions or places to go see while we're there? Is the drinking age 19 in Vancouver? Thanks

Might want snow chains for driving thru Western MT and ID and Spokane areas on Rt 90.

I drove across the north route about 15 years ago, desolete out there at times but Mt had the reasonable and prudent speedlimit at the time.

If you want to go to Vancouver make sure you get a passport. They just enacted some bs law that requires you have one to get back in the US. Other than that, do it! Road trips are fucking sweet.

Thats only if you're flying. If you drive across you can still use just a birth certificate or drivers license until the end of the year.

Thats what I thought. I think we're gonna do it but driving 60 some hours in a week is gonna suck

Yea, i just went up to Canada for my 19th bday. We had a HUGE burger and some beer at a Grill about 100 miles east of Vancouver. (1.5 drive from bellingham, WA) I am thinking we should do a meet up there this summer for the PNW guys.

I bet its more like 36 -38 hours to get out there from cincy. I drove out to whitefish Mt (northwest corner of Mt) from Ann Arbor Mi and it took me 29hours 37 min's truck on driving time driveway to driveway. Total time was 34 hours an change, I took a quick nap somewhere in Wy for about 3 hours. It was a fun trip even by my self. I am going back out there a couple of times next summer I love it out there.

Don't get me wrong I love this part of the country but it's usually shitty with a chance of crappy in the early spring. Most days our weather is somewhere in the 50s with rain. Summer is the best time to visit the Northwest if you want to enjoy it.
