        The guys from Portugal know the story: A guy collected all those cars to restore. He got sick, was afraid someone would steal cars or parts and had warehouse doors welded shut. He never recovered and property was passed on to his children. They waited til youngest son was 18 and put property up for sale. Potential buyer wanted to see what was in warehouse and doors were cut open. Son decided not to sell property just cars. Story is cars began to be collected mid- seventies and doors were welded after 1980. Most of the cars have Dutch tags but warehouse is in Portugal. BMW's include 2 501 V8's 1 E9 coupe 2 E3 sedans 1 2002. Some enhanced pix on page 2 show room in full light- the original photos are so dark hard to make out a lot of the cars.
