Oh yeah (shit keeps popping up in my head. When I was from 17-21 when we would get lots of drugs for the night, before we anxiously got home and ripped the baggies and baloons open, we'd stop by the local Ralphs and with the hugeness of our pants back then (and how skinny we were), we'd be able to stuff about 3-4 fullsize bottle of hard alky each into our pants. Plus the girls would put as much in their bags. That was back when all they had was that magnetic sticker on the bottom. We'd end up purchasing like a camera so it didnt look too obvious that 3-4 gangbangers went in and out of the store time and time again. haha. Never got caught. Another time, I got a hold of a credit card and ran up about a 1500 bill with electronics and shit I needed for the house, along with an expensive meal. Also never got caught.

I admit that I have stolen a lot of things from the junkyard. Usually when I am there to get one or two things I will throw other odds and ends into my bag.. screws, clips, knobs, buttons, etc.. which most times they don't care because the car is gonna get crushed anyhow and these little nick-knacks are thought to be insignificant. I remember once I came to the counter with a handful of roundel emblems from the steeering wheels of the cars and the guy just said, "Have a nice day!" and didn't charge me anything. So to avoid the akwardness of coming by for the freebies, I just toss them into my bag and find something else that they can charge me $5 for.

I've only ever stolen once. But it was small, not worth much, and for my e30 at the time, so it doesn't REAAALLY count does it? LOL

The year was 1995, and I had my first car, a 1985 euro 320i; four-dour, bronzit, the works... But since I had bought the car, one of the three HVAC slider nubs were missing (the black plastic handles with the vertical light).

I searched all the used parts places and junkyards, but none of them would give me the nub without taking a whole dashboard. I even went to the dealer to ask for it... not available :(

So one day I parked in the college parking lot, and there happened to be a TOTALLY horrid-condition e30 next to my car, with its windows down. Guess what, it had TWO nubs missing! I swiped the last one he had and completed my set (and made his look more even LOL).

That's it. Even though I didn't feel bad about it, I have never stolen since.

My best friend and I stole every single BUSH/CHENEY '04 sign in my entire town one late night and put them all on this kids yard i didn't like. I even got two that were like 4'x8' and folded them in half. it was the only time i've ever taken anything. I also blew up the kids mailbox (it had pokemon stickers on it for crying outloud!)... thats a different thread though.

I've stolen a bunch of "No Skateboarding" signs and some "No Trespassing" signs. If I'm skating at a place with "No Skateboarding" signs and the cops come, I'm getting a ticket. If if there's no signs, I can just say "Whaaa? I didn't know I couldn't skate here?".

Aside from that, I've stolen a few packs of gum, a few donuts (in Randalls you can just eat them in the store) and a few screws from a junkyard.

Come to think of it. My wife and I have a collection of signs we take. One of them being the famous "Slow Children At Play" weve got a few cones, one of those upright orange things, SOme other stuff. My mom likes collecting ashtrays with logos on them. Shes fucking good too. When we went to Europe, she pocketed TONS of beer glasses, and when i went this past summer did the same. Ill post pics of them. I had a heavy ass backpack. Lots of little innocent shit ya know?

    lol.

i remember when i was like 6, my baby sitters son had gotten this shitty little watch from burger king and i wanted it. so i stole it and hid it in my underwear as i left the house.

as soon as i got homw i ripped it into about 8 different pieces and kept the clock part in my pocket. hid the pieces everywhere.

well the lady called and to make a long story short they found out that i took it. so i had to find all the parts. and the pins that held the watch together were in the garbage can. so i had to dig through the garbage to find the two little pins, all the while my mom was whipping the shit outta my ass.

that was the last time i did any petty theft.
