My life is great. That's why the threat title is about the past, not the present.

Yes, I wouldn't have gone 125 that day and gotten pulled over.

I wouldn't have thrown that epic party where some guy got pistol whipped three times in the head and now I'm deaing with an ongoing assault investigation. At that same party my friend's laptop was stolen, and my bottle of courvosier. Yeah, I should've rethinked the security for that party.

I would've checked the torque on my lug bolts the run before my wheel fell off, costing a $460 tow.

I'm pretty sure there are a few more things I regret. But nothing so big that it changes my life.

Haha, am I mistaken, or is this the off topic lounge? He asked the question, are we not supposed to answer it? lol

i should have been more ambitious in the past. i wish i would have actually put in effort when i was in school, instead of just floating by, getting drunk and high all the time. i wish i wouldnt have dropped out of college. i wish i wasn't 23, with no college deploma, still delivering pizza while all of my friends are working real jobs. i dont have a girlfriend, who wants to date a fucking pizzaboy? sure, i can go to the bars and bring home a pig to slam for the night, but really i miss that feeling. you know the one im talking about.

                      wait a minute...

all my friends are working real jobs, waking up at 6 in the morning while i sleep till whenever i feel like it. i can do whatever i want all day, stay up all night if i want, hell, i dont have to be out of bed before 4:30 pm if i dont want to. i slack, i fuck around, i make 30k a year to drive around and bring hungry lazy people food. i go out drinking whenever i want, i live on my own with some good friends, i have an amazing circle of friends i would kill for, fuck man. life is good! i have everthing i need, a few things i want, and most importantly i have fun.

but in all seriousness, i cant work this job forever. im seriously consitering going back to school next semister.

I think I'm gonna get a shitty E30 or Saab 900 to deliver pizzas with... I need a job.

I wish I wouldn't have bought my Nissan frontier for $7500. I could have bought a d21 for $3k and blew the rest on teh BMW. Other than that, life is awesome. I am healthy aside from a slight beer pudge. I only have ten classes to go on my bachelor's, I have no bills (living on parents land and house rocks) except for insurance. I have an e46, e30, and a Frontier and I'm only 21.

I snowboard every other day, just banged my girl, and Im drinking a cool tall pabst at 1130 in the morning. Im still living the dream here in college.

But all kidding aside this man speaks the truth on credit. Some of my friends have already maxed out several credit cards, miss bills, etc. Ill admit I got a cc when I went to college, but I have only about 500 bucks on it right now with a 6000 limit. I use it only for gas and pay it off every month. Credit cards are not the total bain on this earth, they are a good way to build up a solid credit history before you get into the real world, if you use them responsibly.

I forgot about that.. I had LOTS of fun turning myself into a transient deadbeat!

I agree.. that is indeed a nice way live because I used to do that too. I enjoyed being a pizza boy because I would actually go visit my friends on THEIR jobs during the day time. But the difference was that my $30K a year with unlimited freedom was not as valueable as their $60K - $100K per year job and the benefits that went along with it. By having a career, they really weren't slaves to their job. If they ever decided to take off for a couple of weeks to go skiing in the Alps, they could do it any time they felt like it. They had nice cars and nice houses, etc. and as you stated in your previous post, no decent woman wants to date a pizza boy.

At age 34 I have old friends who still live at home with their parents in the same bedroom that they had in elementary school. They wake up and go to sleep whenever they feel like it and they have no bills, no stress, no problems.. but I wouldn't trade places with them for anything in this world. I don't think that you could pay me a million bucks to live in my parents' house and work part time at some fast food joint.

So all in all, screwing around and having fun all day was very enjoyable for me.. somehow I still think that if I could do it all over again I would not have gone that route.

Yeah.. my girlfriend at the time went that route.. she had a TON of credit but she used it very wisely. I would get mad with her when she wouldn't loan me money or buy things for me on her credit card or let me borrow one of her cards. And not long before she dumped me, she bought a 5 bedroom house on her own. I wonder if suggesting the idea of allowing me to move in had anything to do with the breakup or if this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
