I've never met you, but I feel like you have another "family" out there from guys on this board in Cali that will always be there to help you, like Trent, Matt, and others, and I am jealous of that.

Don't be afraid to ask a hand, your boys are some of your most important people. Needless to say, you should be thankful for having such friends who will be there for you, I commend them and you for being honest in this thread.

Someday when I got out to Cali I gotta meet you guys! Haha you all sound like a fun bunch in the first place! Be thankful for what you have, and where you're headed. Always think about how it could be worse, and you'll see that you truly are lucky.

You seem very strong minded. Most people that go through this get all religious. I think it's important to realize that you didn't survive because someone was watching over you or anything, it was pure dumb luck. That way, next time you feel like having a taste, you'll remember that it wasn't God that saved you like he might this time but pure dumb luck and the odds are worse each time.

I find the pneumonia thing a little odd to say the least. You probably contracted it in your weakened state in the hospital. There's no way you can lift hard in the gym or run 6 miles without realizing you have a respiratory disease - you'll feel like your lungs are made out of hard rubber, encased in a small steel box.

Wow that is some crazy shit, I'm glad you are ok!

Its stories like this that always make me think twice about what I am doing, I have friends who have "tried" coke and stuff, but I know I am the sort of person that once I start I will never stop, and hearing stories like you described just make it not worth it for me. I think a lot of people can learn a lesson through you.

That one completely took me off guard though, If I was going to do Vicodin I wouldn't think twice about it (I wouldn't but I am just saying if I did), I have had it before for actual medical reasons. It's really weird how it almost killed you, the only thing I have heard like that is people who are allergic to antihistamines where a similar thing can happen.
