Seriously though, don't think I find any of this offensive at all, cuz most normal people shoudln't...Even amongst my friends I always joke about the whole gay thing, and they especially find it funny when they see me call someone a flamer. And no, thats not something you see everyday, a gay guy calling another one a flamer, but then again, I am just an average guy.
You'd have no idea I was gay unless I told you, and even then, its not something I go around announcing. I dont deny it, but I dont go around all prancy and shit, and you will never see me with anything pink or rainbowy.

HAHAH C'mon now, I am from Massachusetts...the highest gay population in the country. There are lots of normal gay guys out there, you just dont realize it since you would have no idea they are gay :)
I don't take offense to anything, and quite frankly, I don't fit any of the stereotypes whatsoever...most of my friends are guys, straight guys btw, and I'm just a t shirt and jeans guy, my hobbies are more or less powersports, building the e30, etc, and I own a landscaping business, so don't think I'm one of those frickin fairy ass weirdos prancing around and shit acting like 16 yr old chicks :)
That said, there are some real perks, no word of a lie to think of LOL- No pms to deal with, no bitching and moaning, no dealing with time for makeup and hair shit, and imagine having whoever you're with into powersports, working on cars, etc. HAHAHA Think about it! You can be somewhat picky, I def am. If I wanted to date a chick, I'd be straight :) There are not as many normal gay guys as there are fruitloops out there, but I have only dated normal guys. And by normal, I'm seeing someone right now that just finished up 6 years active Army, with 2 tours of Iraq, and who is a huge BMW fan, hell, he even had both an e30 and e46 when he lived in Germany! So there are some of us out there who not only are just regular guys, but also can't stand most other gay guys LOL! My ex girlfriend told me that all of the other stuff, like talking with a lisp, walking with a switch and a bent wrist, the flamboyancy, etc. is a separate sickness associated with being gay but really has nothing to do with it.

Funny you should mention being a "normal" gay guy.. because I had co-workers like that who would invite me over to see the game or some other social function.. and somewhere around the 4th or 5th major party it occured to me that none of these guys had their girlfriends over. I didn't think anything of it until I saw the TV commercial late at night called, "Interactive Male".. you know.. the chat line for guys who just want to talk to other guys...And in the back of my mind I was wondering, "What guy in his right mind wants to get on the chat line with another guy....this late at night.. to talk about WHAT? ohhhhh Uhhh.. yeah... I get it now."

When I was in college, I had gay music teacher who was clearly out of the closet, yet he wasn't interested in any of us. And the students and our teacher could openly and freely joke around with each other about it.. where one student will say to another, "hey jim, you better watch how you wear that purple shirt- Mr. Spirnow might come on to you!" and we would all laugh.. and then Mr. Spirnow would reply by saying, "Well for the record, ALL of you boys are UGLY so I am not living out anyone's fantasy for them." and we would roll on the floor laughing.
