5/1 with a static IP at home (cable)

20/20 at work. Fiber connection.

Myself and work on the same provider, I get around 9ms of latency over VPN back to the work network. Pretty snappy.

Yeah, us in the country get shafted...The phone lines where I live wont even reliably carry the analog 56k signal! Luckily the town just deployed some microwave internet towers, pretty cool shit. Basically the town has complete wireless coverage now...but 2mbps for 60 a month? ehh...
