I have a 89 325is with hail damage all the way around it.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT DO WHAT THE PO DID TO MY CAR! PARK IT IN A GARAGE, UNDER A OVERPASS, PUT A PILLOW BLANKET ON IT, LAY OVER IT, ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

I am bitter because I have to fix the car - panel by panel. I am going new with many items just because it is cheaper than fixing it when you look at the time and material needed to do the job correctly. Then in the end you have a trunk/hood with mud in it. ghey.

The last time they predicted hail, I bought an 8 man tent for about $50 and parked the car inside of it. They were calling for golf-ball sized hail but it ended up not being that bad and nobody sustained any damage. The tent can resist wind and rain with enough weight and coverage on the floor so I imagined that hail could not do much to the tent either.
