I like how nobody understands the telecommunications industry, but everyone has so much to say and complain about.
You get a bunch of monkey's that don't understand business management, the technology actually being debated, or the legal aspects. But they want lower cell phone service prices, and all of a sudden there's petitions with thousands of people "fighting for their rights".

The prices are acceptible IMO, but their customer service is lack-luster. I now have Cingular and the American that answers the 611 is very nice to talk with.

There is no telecommunications company that offers purely U.S. based tech support for cell phone users. The large scale business side of Verizon (Verizon Business) uses support, sales, NOC departments that are located in the U.S., and I'm sure most other providers do as well.
I've had Verizon, AT&T (before Cingular) and now Cingular, and the tech support is all the same - 90% of the time you get an outsourced department for help. Sometimes when call load is light you can get transferred to a U.S. department.
I work for Verizon Business, and it's awesome to see people rag on Verizon as a whole, with no comprehension of the business model, strategy, or plans. Believe it or not, your $60 cell phone bill is not what is keeping the company afloat. And they aren't losing that many customers to Vonage, it's cable services that are the real threat.
Nothing... but the general population has caused me to not use them anymore.
People don't know how to drive and keep tires properly inflated, therefore the rollover rate and trailer-incident rate for Ford Explorers has increased. U-Haul no longer rents equipment to Ford Explorers, which has screwed me over.
I hate people.
As for hating U-Haul, they are doing what they can to protect themselves for lawsuits from greedy people who can't drive. God I fucking hate this planet.
I'm sure this is not what the OP was referring to, but I found this to be an excellent opportunity to vent :D
