The Yaris is one of the most efficient vehicles on the road nowadays, it really runs on minute amounts of fuel, but the way to achieve this is quite unsafe.
Also repairs after a crash are virtually impossible unless it's a 10mph crash.
At least here, a large pecentage of Yaris owners die in their first crash, it is fuel efficient, but....
I wouldn't get one, 34mpg city is good but not amazing or anything. I average 30 city in my mk3 2.slow by driving nice. Plus that car is probably going to have a nice scion like rice following, makes me never want to buy any of those "customizable" cars.
Plus, WTF is up with all the clusters being in the middle these days, I would find that so annoying.
If I want a good MPG I'll buy a prius, or a diesel so I can make bio-diesel.
