i hope someday i can make a car and develop a rep that gets me talked about YEARS later. and as soon as my car comes up for sale again get a whole forum site talking about it. that would be sweet.

And you may be right. And that's not the only option I'd look at IF the opportunity arose to buy or build such a car. Something else I'd also look at would be buying an E30 M3 and putting an S50 in it, something I've always wanted to do. And for $20k, I could find a pristine M3 with maybe a bad/high mileage engine and do just that. If such a situation were to come along, that's when I'd put much more serious thought into it.

I know what you are saying, but you could build the same car for the same amount of money. I remember Jordan only had $12,000 into the car (TOTAL) when the car was still on DS2's, and he didn't put a whole lot more into it after that point. Of course he had countless man hours into it, and a car is worth whatever someone will pay for it, but I don't personally think its worth a whole lot more than $10,000.

To be honest TJ, and not to slam you, it really depends on who it's worth that much to. I think if I had the money to spend on such a car, I would buy this instead of an M3. And no, not just because it was Jordan's. Because it would be damn near impossible to find an M3 in as good of condition as this car, and because while M3's are the fucking business, when something goes wrong with it, and it will, Jordan's car would cost a hell of a lot less to fix than the M3.

Maybe I'm crazy, and I could be wrong, but that's just my thoughts on it. At this point, the only thing an M3 has on this car is fender flares and an S14. Now while I know people will say that's what matters, I guess all I can say is different strokes for different folks. I also don't think I can fully explain what I'm trying to say, lol. :D

e36 sideskirts on an e30 and huge wheels:down:

I realize a huge amount of work went into the car but its not my taste at all. I would never consider 20,000 for it even if I was a millionaire, but I'm sure someone will buy it for close to that. lata

the seller makes it sound like jordan put a m52 in his car, from an e36 328is

i know there is a bored and stroked m20 in there
really? well ill have to call my 84 318i a 321.5i
Seems like suddenly, I'm not such a prick anymore.

Actually, it kind of seems like I was right.
