and no longer can we rebel against our over-powerful government, since they will use the police and military against us, which we pay for with out taxes.

and as for the news.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH fuck the news.
Damn straight, we essentially have a dictator, not so much a president. He won't listen to the people, his arrogance is incredible... And our government has censored us from all of the good news, we can't get Al-Jazeera on TV because they won't allow it. It's getting scary in here! I'm all for America, but when an overwhelming majority disagrees with the president's plans and actions, and he carries on anyway and just dismisses our wishes, he isn't doing his fucking job very well.

For the record for anyone who is going to call me anti-America or say some other bullshit, I'm in the Army... so come on. So many troops disagree with the course of action it's amazing. My 41 year-old mother joined the National Guard and is currently in her 5th week of BCT, I imagine she will be deployed if shit keeps going the way it's going. Do you know how scary that is??

why would your mom join the national gaurd?

and there is far more to do with politics than just the president. congress has just as much if not more power than the president. so it isnt all him, he is just the one that has to take the blame for everyones mistakes.

most people are not educated enough to make proper opinions of something as complicated as politics.

He won't listen to the idiots of the nation? Oh man, what an asshole. Wait? What is this overwhelming majority that disagrees? Or are you just talking about the majority that doesn't think he is doing a great job? Obviously at some point a majority voted him to stay in the white house.

If the people complaining weren't morons, they could call their senators and representatives. But no, the high school dropouts and ignorant whiners forget that the executive branch is only 1/3 of the nation's power. People have a whole lot better opportunity to get in touch and be heard by the legistlative side of government. Sure, lobbyists and SIG have a lot of influence but talking to those who you voted in does more good than bitching on the fucking internet.

I didn't know the government controls the media - you are thinking of the jews. Just because they may be like-minded doesn't mean the government is running everything.

If the president listened to the uneducated bitching of those who listen to loose change, he would be doing a shitty job. There are also probably people who want him to triple welfare checks, but that's not in the best interest of the nation...

If bush flat out says he will veto any bill that includes "blank", how is congress being effective? At this point, things are not running the way that they should.

Have you seen the news? An overwhelming majority disagrees with how Bush has handled shit and his approval ratings are still dismal.

And staying in Iraq is? Oh... Ok.

Of course the bullshit liberal media will report what they see fit, including these poor numbers and "how Bush has handled shit". They blow everything out of proportion to make it seem like there is a large problem.

when bush says he will flat out veto any bill that puts a timetable on the war, i'm for that. especially since that bill was laden with pork barrel spending to get the majority of the fraternity we call congress to vote for it. what ever happened to just voting up or down on one issue.

the more people complain about the government the more i think people will become libertarians, but sadly people don't have common sense anymore. total ban on guns will decrease crime. uh wait yea the only people obeying those laws are the ones who aren't criminals.

plain and simple, the government needs to stay out of my life. if i want to be a dumbass and not wear a seatbelt than thats my choice and if i die than that makes our society better. todays government believes the people are to stupid to take care of themselves, which is largely true thanks to the government telling them that. less government, more freedom. read liberty by JSM.

here, let me help you out, since maybe you flunked social studies: http://www.socialstudieshelp.com/Lesson_13_Notes.htm

Since the majority of America supposedly wants the war to end, they could tell their congressional representatives to override such a veto. He is not a dictator, you and others are just simplifying things to attempt to make a failed point. "overwhelming majority" should be at least 66.66%

Are you saying an early pullout of Iraq is the solution? Yeah, that should bring about middle east stability really well and make the world a safer place. Bush Sr. may have complicated things there, but the world situation is not solely one mans fault and on man cannot also fix all the world's problems. (Just like how it wasn't FDR's fault that Hilter rose to power) Maybe going into Iraq and drawing support from emotions wasn't the greatest choice, but leaving before things get better isn't genius either.

and again, i refer to your ignorant post:

If the people really disagree that strongly, they can overpower him. But it's that the people bitching are either too lazy or too few to do anything. Just because some people don't like to see war, deaths, or conflict, it doesn't mean the majority are gunho for pulling out and the President is going a bad job because we aren't leaving Iraq. Being strong in a time of dealing with a bunch of emotional idiots and doing what should be done is pretty impressive.

Did your parents not take you to the dentist because you whined and cried?? Did it make them bad parents when they dragged you into the office?

We need to instate a perma-ban on political topics. The people here disagree enough on what is acceptable to do to an E30, let alone how this country should be run.

That said, I love all you fuckers r3v is the reason I get up every day.
