haha man i just finished my first year of college and i skipped SPAREINGLY! BUT the books dont come in handy if you can make friends with someone who has a book ALSo learning from books is less helpfull than if you and a friend just sit down for 30 minutes a day and talk about every class you have in comming (more than 4 hopefully) this way u get ur teachers side, you have your opinion , ur friends opinion and the book for back up.

this dosent work in math, but what does work is...learn formulas. ..FAST!

now that thats out of the way, i dont buy books unless i absolutely need them to do homework or something, thats what friends are for, i dont often pay alot of attention in classes and i dont really take alot of notes. college is fuckin easy guys, my only tip to you is dont be stupid, be really smart and get good grades, its alot better that way.

Another ... Toward the end of college though, If it's a major where you'll need to look shit up during your job such as mine in engineering, you might want to hold on to the books which you think are important.
