In fact, all of us who live out here "overseas" are constantly wondering when president Bush might decide that our country is part of the "evil group" and invade us, fortunately our country (Chile) (other than copper) has nothing worth being invaded for.

The point is that the other day i was watching a special program on 9/11 on TV and I cried like a baby, all those people who died: before, during and after the attack really moved me. Here we had terrorism for a long time, in fact more than 2000 police officers were killed by terrorists in a 10 year period, not to mention civilians and military personnel.

This country should have never existed, just like yugoslavia, it will always be in an internal war because of the racial, religious and cultural difference among people trapped in a single country, the best thing to do is to get out of there as soon as possible, US marines are trapped in crossfire of an undeclared war that has been going on since the 1920's and nobody tells them, meanwhile lots of govt. contractors make money at the expense of their lives.

Sometimes, good intentions (like brining democracy and freedom to other countries) can end up harming the nation wanting to help.

That place is beyond help, I mentioned yugoslavia, remeber Kosovo, some countries just have to break apart and live their own lives until they evolve into something better, meanwhile the rest of the world should turn around and let them be (for their own good).

There are more I researched to really understand the middle east problem, not just because of this topic, but have been doing it for quite some time now, even though i'm no geopolitical expert I have researched a lot in order to have enough information to have an opinion on the subject.

I must admit sometimes there is bullshit in wikipedia, but it's a great place (if you doublecheck) to get info in one page, I understood you were not disputing the argument, I just wanted to let you know that wikipedia is "roughly" accurate on average, and that even though tere are some hilarious parts of it, it is getting corrected every day and getting better and better. ;)

And thanks on commenting on the wine, it's quite good but expensive abroad.
