I'd repaint it the stock color, many reasons why I would do so as well.

I would throw a duck tail on it, and also I would leave the passenger mirror off, and the wheels would simply be refinished, but hey, that's me ^_-

I'm sure you have plenty of sources, but feel free to give my shop a call anytime! We do a lot of older enthusiasts cars and often have, or can get parts. The first link in my sig is us, talk to Alex, he's the owner and general guru.

Have fun with your project, keep us updated!

        Thanks,
        Brendan

get 8" up front 10" in the rear, mask and paint them yourself (it's not that hard), visit GTracing's site early ft with carerra oil cooler and rear bumpers in fiberglass or carbon depending on how deep your pockets are, respray the same color (color change will cost you alot of money done right), GT racing ducktail carbon fiber weighs NOTHING, bursch muffler (i have one on my 914-6 makes it sound like an old grand prix car from the 60's, graft in SC rear "flairs" actually the outside of the rear fender openings (this will give you plenty of clearence for the 10's, porterfield sr-4 pads all the way around, carerra 3.0 (euro delivery) intake man then portmatch the heads to the bigger runner openings, NEW cis inj (i know these are $$ but being as you prob have the orginal ones the screens are prob at least semi plugged, this will make a BIG difference, early "S" cams, GT racing fiberglass or carbon hood, S/S brake lines all the way around, weltmiester torsion bars, through body swaybar, strut tie bar....have i spent all your money yet??????
