lol I hope you really are just putting me on with your attitude.
ps if you read my post you should understand that I feel the same way you do about TV these days and that I am able to survive without watching any TV at all. And I'm not paying for anything while i'm not doing it.

I'm sorry, but America's Got Talent is the gayest thing since...I don't even know. THat shows blows ass. It's frickin retarded.
It's like American Idol, but (no offense to Idol lovers) gayer.
I can't stand those shows. I just find movies on TV now. And honestly, if I even rent out my own place (soon here in CA) if I had the option (since I'm only renting a room) I would just put up an antenna for the local channels and call it good. There's nothing good on TV anymore, and commericals bug me.- Sean Hayes

You know, to be honest, I can't remember the last time I watched 'regular' network TV. Since I got my Tivo, any limited time I have available for watching TV is spent watching the shows I like - even if it is a rerun.
Then there's the added benefit of being able to watch stuff I didn't know I would like, but that the darned thing suggests for me... possibly the only appreciably effective use of the user data it collects. It pays attention to what I watch, then suggests programs for me.
It started with the People's Court and went downhill from there. I'm telling ya, in a few years it will be "The Running Man" live and in stunning HD!
