I'm going to see them in September and I cant wait. Last time I saw them was on the Grace under Pressure tour in 1984...
Wow, you're an oldie like me.
I have a serious hankering to see them. Neil Pert . That man is absolutely amazing. I love Geddy Lee's voice. Have fun (as if you wont) at the concert.

I saw Grace Under Pressure myself.
Just beware that to help out with Getty's aging vocal chords, they detune a step or two. It works for the newer stuff but the older songs sound weird.
Last time I saw them was for their 30th anniversary tour.
I just got a couple songs from them, namely "trigger", they blew my fucking mind.
Trigger is amazing, its one of those songs that you can never listen to loud enough. I had to go listen to it in my car and in short order got pulled over for having my music up too loud.

Trigger is probably one of my favorite songs of theirs. From that same album (Reroute to Remain), also check out "Drifter" and "System".
I have every one of their albums. The In Flames section of my Winamp playlist is... long. If you want more, just let me know. I also have the DVD "in Live we Trust" which has all of their videos and tons of live footage, ripped onto my computer. Just let me know.
I love radiohead :)...bjork is awesome, and Tool takes the cake for mainstream rock. Portishead is amazing, and so is Pinback. I listen to alot of underground hip hop as well like sage francis, and eyedea, or slug, or aesop rock... The list goes on. Music is my life...

Cool, I think I am good as far as getting the music goes, I will definitely check out those other songs, I don't think I have them yet.
I like these threads because whatever bands you bring up I haven't heard of usually kick ass lol.

The Jester Race was the peak of their career, and where their "profoundness" started to go downhill...I still do like trigger, epidsode 666, etc. very catchy.
I'd have a hard time picking a favorite band...Devourment? Wormed? Cannibal Corpse? Mushroomhead?! Rammstein?!
