I still think Reroute to Remain is their best. Soundtrack to Your Escape was really good, too. "My Sweet Shadow" is probably one of my favorite songs of theirs. Do you like the new disc at all?

Thats funny, I actually like Soundtrack to Your Escape quite a bit, I almost totally forgot about it.

It is almost hard to even compare the old old stuff to the newest stuff, its totally different and evolved over several albums.

I can easily see liking Reroute to Remain the most, it's great too. However, it is very different from The Jester Race which I love so much.

I think Soundtrack to Your Escape is about as far as I can go accepting the different direction they've taken, I ended up kinda being disappointed by Come Clarity the more I listened to it. I don't know if you're a Children Of Bodom fan, but it is kinda like comparing their older CDs to their new stuff. People love both, but usually independently of each other.

          Fuck, now I'm seriously bummed.

I guess I'll have to start thinking about it as a Dan the Automator album that happens to have a douchebag wifebeater cluttering it up. Damn.

Edit: Also, sell me your car. It's sweet and I need a new one.

HAHA nah, if you think its sick now just wait :). I should be ballin in a few weeks or so.

The Smashing Pumpkins are on the top of my list, with Incubus as a close second.

Can't forget Rage Against the Machine though.

So many bands out there... reading this shit makes me wanna check out more of the bands you guys are talking about.

Sorry to nitpick Clay, but there's no "the" at the front of their name. It's like when people say THE Deftones or THE Gorillaz. Just drives me nuts.

Yes, there is. Originally it was just "Smashing Pumpkins", but Corgan added the "The" later on. So there.

It is incorrect to say "did you see Deftones show?"

Since a band is not an indefinite article.

if you look at their website it's just "Smashing Pumpkins"

Yes, but in that context, you aren't calling the band "THE Deftones". You're applying the "the" to the object, or in this case, the event. It's when you get radio DJ's that say "here's a song by THE Deftones" that it's incorrect.

And Brew, there is no THE in their name. Their MySpace page and their website both say "Smashing Pumpkins", and none of their albums (of which I have just about every one of them) says "THE" before their name. The only one I've seen that does is their greatest hits album, as well as "Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness", which I don't know why those 2 would and not the rest.
