Left my phone on the roof of the car and drove off. Realized it about 2 hours later and retraced my steps. Found it in the middle of the road about a mile from where I left. Got run over lord knows how many times. Found the battery and put it in and it started right up. Just the top half of the screen doesn't work.

I've been through 8 phones in 3 years I think, so don't feel too bad.

I lost my keys to my E36 and S50 swapped cars.

Or so I thought. I found them this afternoon, in the glovebox of my M50 swap. WHEW! I guess I was monkeying around, moving cars in and out of the garage and I guess I put the keys in the glovebox.

I was in the Verizon store about a month ago with my brother to get him a new phone. While in the store I pulled my phone out of the pocket to make a call and as I open it up the screen just stops working on me, the guys at the store were laughing at me. The story for how my brothers phone got broken is a little ridiculous too. He was playing with a burning cup of alcohol in his room and accidnetly set fire to his desk. When putting out the fire he got his phone wet (it was sitting on his desk) and the water fried it.

V3 Razr was left in my pants pocket for a day or two, forgot about it. Laundry day came and still I did not know where my phone was (thought I left it in a field). About 20 minutes after my mom started a load in the wash I realized that I had brought it home and that it was in my pants being washed...

Let it dry out for 2 weeks and now it works just fine! I still always drop it places and forget about the damn thing.

I still have the cell phone I bought new in 1992.

It's about the size of a brick - a good pound or so... Lost the charger, though, so no idea if it works or not.

                    :D

Personally have never lost a phone, but a buddy of mine walked into a hot-tub with his brind new phone still in his pocket.

He dried it out and told the store it was a defective phone though.

And the store replaced it? There is a dot normally under the battery cover somewhere, water hits it and it goes red.

I washed my phone and took it apart, replaced the screen and it works okay now, but I was wondering what that dot was for. It fell apart on me actually though when I pulled it apart. Guess it was because it was in the water so long.
