:tsk:well, its a bit too late to be telling this, but im going in for an interview tomorrow. i know some basics of an interview. but what throws my basics are the questions that pop up. can anyone tell me of any examples of question they would ask you? maybe in your experience? i got a couple in my head.

What type of job are you interviewing for? Having gone through the dot-com bust as a software engineer I went on a lot of technical interviews and the best advice I can give is that "I don't know the answer" is a perfectly acceptable response along with some sort of affirmation of your ability to locate the answer using various resources in a real-world situation.
Also, there are some people you will interview with that just won't be pleased with anything you say and use the interviewing process to make themselves feel smarter than they are by asking all manner of technical minutia that no competent person would bother retaining in long term memory because the info can be found in 30 seconds with Google.
Be honest, don't be afraid to take 20 seconds and think about your answers, feel free to ask the interviewer to repeat/restate questions you don't understand and you will be fine.

They might ask you about what your best and worst attributes are. They might even make you "freestyle" and ask you to tell them everything there is to know about you as it relates to the position. They will also probably ask you if you have any questions for them. So you want to be prepared to ask them about the company, the position, and when you can start. Prepare to have something to talk about without being a total chatterbox.Comment

It depends on the company, but try to be a bit in charge of the interview without being annoying to the interviewer, act as a salesman, you are the product you are triying to sell.
But keep in mind that sometimes the guy who is interviewing is just a looser that knows nothing about the actual job.
