I Hate Cops

I can attest to this. I was the one taken in for "resisting arrest". Ill take m y time and post the whole thing. I was not combative, or insulting. This truly was fucked up. I got pepper sprayed, thrown at the hood of a car twice (breaking my friends CF hood), and left in the squad car with the pepper spray burning for 20-30 minutes. Got out today at 5AM. Im at work. I neither insulted, nor instigated anything from the police. I merely asked over and over why I was being arrested, since I was only the PASSENGER in the car that supposedly made the violation. We were in the patio, in the long driveway of MR 325 (Matts) property, copmpletely in the property. Them without their lights on pull in. I have 8 witnesses. The cuffs were so tight that it cut off circulation in my right hand and I lost some sensation on the left side of my hand that hasnt come back. I assure you, as my word is my honor, I did nothign to deserve this. They finally told me what I was charged with after 2 hours locked up. Never read my rights, either until getting interviewed by the Lieutenant at the station. This is not a joke, and all of my witnesses are going to file complaints. The officers were flagrantly aggressive. I was not armed, I was not inflammatory in any way. Matt can back me up on this. They threw him and Mike (his Bday) against the fence and wouldnt let him film it with his camera phone. I have documented all of my injuries. At no time did they attempt to approach me in a civil manner. Im not lying down on this one. This is not a joke. My eyes, and hands still burn.

I will never trust a cop ever again after one lied big time on a police report toward myself. It fucked me really hardcore in the end. I went to court for it but it came down to my word against the cop and people want to trust the cop not some punk kid. I realize what would happen if there were no cops, but i still cant get over the hate and disrespect i have toward them.

So me and Mariano went to go pick up some beer. A cop was going the opposite direction and saw that we were making a left. He pulls into a parking lot and turns around i make the left and go into matts driveway, the cop pulls in with NO LIGHTS ON just the side light. We get out the car they cops tell me to put my hand on the hood by that time mariano was in the doorway of the house when the cops pulled him out and threw him onto mikes CF hood ,which is cracked now, and pepper sprayed him. they put us in the back of the cop car for longer than 20-30 it was almost an hour id say 45-60 min. then took me out of the car and gave me a FUCKING FIXIT TICKET FOR NO FRONT PLATE!! it was complete police brutality. The video will be up as soon as i get it off mikes phone. mike was arrested for interfering with a police investigation which is bullshit because all he was doing was talking to the watch commander on the phone and telling the cops not to throw Mariano on his car.

All that shit for a fixit ticket and the funny thing is the detective was trying to convince me that "its not like we are bored or anything you know how much paperwork i have to fill out now." my response was to him if you guys arent bored then why are their 6 cop cars and a firetruck here giving me a fix-it it ticket. the officer didn't respond.....

Thats your good hard earned tax dollars go to use.!

I think its time for a-good-ole Grass Roots style protest. Please if you could post the police office address, phone and fax numbers. Also list all names that were involved and and I think there are a few board friends that could generate some stink over this case!

Wow that sucks !! Glad I don't live in Cali !!! The cops here are really pretty easy going unless you piss them off then look out!!!! You know you always hear about how abusive they are in Cali too. Maybe you need to get a real good lawyer like the O.J. dreamteam !!

Well, I certainly wasnt there so I will hold back on my comments. What I will say though, your friend was in the wrong by calling the watch commander at the time of the incident. There's a time and a place for everything, that time is not while the cops are trying to get a handle on the situation. Believe me, from my experience it tends to escalate the situation. For all you know, you may have matched the description of some other subjects involved in a crime. You should always be open to that and let the cops sort it out. It's okay to ask questions later.

There's nothing wrong with being compliant. They have a very difficult job.

No you are wrong(IMHO). They have a shitty job, no one is forcing them to do it.

I'd rather toung-clean the floor of a peep-show booth than be a cop.

I'm sure someone else knows this - but the mayor, city council, and the Grand Jury all give the cops input on how to do their job (basically the cops boss?) Am I not correct?

I'd try to go WAY over the cops head, and find out who can really get them in trouble - other wise it will be some 2-day suspension WITH PAY...(READ: vacation) for them.

All i have to say is the in my opinion and from my point of view the cops were very agerssive and had no reason to assult mariano in the way they did. He was the passanger and was not making any sort of agressive manouvers. as the saying goes "shoot first ask questions later"...
