While I couldn't find the exact article I saw. If you go to Gunco.net and put in the search -saiga conversion- you'll see a couple threads, both shotgun and rifle conversions. Or put "saiga conversion" in bing search and there's loads of articles and youtube vids on the subject, now.

Here's my LMT AR in 5.56, fixed defender lower with 16" upper. Rock River trigger group. LMT tactical adjustable iron sites. Went with the fixed stock so i can add some other evil features and still "legally" have the gun in NY or CT.
Never shot it with the stock trigger, but it's super smooth the the current rock river set up!
Crappy pic, but all i got.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

OK Im calling BS on the .338, not because I think you are lying but I just want to see :)
LMT makes a fine standard trigger, but this is so night and day! Nice 2 stage that is so super crisp and very little reset. Its more of a precision trigger but will not fail ya if you go running and gunning.Last edited by mrsleeve; 08-10-2012, 05:27 PM.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

Someone traded me the brand new lower towards a motorcycle i was selling, so i had to source the other stuff and build it. Glad i did it that way, saved a ton of $$ and it was a good learning process. Thinking of adding a decent optic to it, though i have no clue what. i think this thing would be sweet with a nice red-dot or something.
A VZ-58 is next on my list, but pickin up that Springfield set me back a little, so it'll have to wait for now :-|Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

Hey fellow 5.7 guys. My local gun store has the SS192 on the shelf for sale for $28.99/white box plus tax. Should i pick any up? Worth it?sigpicComment

True SS192 ammo?
I just filled out a Form 1 for submission of an SBR. Just going over paperwork details and off for submission. $200 tax stamp and about 7 months from now, I might have me a new SBR AR. :)
I am looking to build something like this....

For Trap, I use an old single shot H&R 12ga with a full choke. I was $100, goes bang every time...........and for some reason, I cannot miss with it. I've embarrassed many people with $2,000 browning O/Us :)
Won't work for skeet obviously....or anything that requires you to shoot more than one target.Comment
