I wish I could have picked my Springfield up for less. I have no regrets though. Its shoots really tight groups, and makes me smile every time I use it. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the trigger is not as tight as it could be.

You can either do it yourself or find a 1911 smith that will do a trigger job for ya. You can get it down to about a 3lb pull with little to no creep. Its well worth the investment.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Yeah I have been looking around. I also want to do a beaver tail on my 1911. I have found a few good articles on the best pieces to use.sigpic

RIA are made in Philippines, just like Rota wheels. So I like to compare them similarly. Rota wheels mite look just like a Work wheel from japan, but it's just a cheap knockoff. Sure it will work just fine, but for how long, and up to what tolerance.IG: @Baye30

Anyone interested in a S&W M&P 9c that has been taken to the range about 8 times and has about 500 rounds through it? Cleaned after every use. Great shape. Case and 4 magazines included.
I want a full size handgun since I don't carry and would like the return from this to assist in that purchase.Estoril E36 M3/4/5 | Toledo E53 X5 3.0 | LeMans E90 335D M-Sport

Since we're on the topic of 1911's...
Just picked this up (used) on Monday. In NY, these are never cheap, but it was a solid deal that i couldn't pass up! Ran a few mags through it and shoots very nicely. The night sights aren't bad either.

Very nice 1911 you have.
I have been seriously considering getting the Sig 1911 in 22LR for a cool gun that is cheap to shoot.
I just got my M&P 9 the other day, so I think I am addicted :o I think this gun is MA compliant, but I have to check.

I hate all the compliance/reciprocity laws in the NE, so inconsistent. I live in NY and work in CT. I can carry all day long in CT concealed, but can only target and hunt with handguns in NY...that makes a lot of sense.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment
