LOL Been on R&R for a while now heeter. No I have not seen that promo, been watching a lot of Tvio and FF the adds.

Oh and Having shot both the Buckmark (when they were browning) and the Ruger MKII and III I am bigger fan of the Rugers. I really wished I had never sold my MKII to help fiance my 1st 1911. I really miss that little guy and have just never gotten around to replacing it

Edit: HAHAHA so thats what that movie is called. Yeah I have seen the full trailer for it. When we went to go see Argo, a week or 2 ago. Looks like lots of gratuitous explosions and gun fire, good guy movie but I suspect its going to have a soft and prolly shitty shity story line and Ah-Nolds acting.

Yeah I knew you were home for Turkey day but wasn't sure if still kicking back. HaHa yeah that one. I don't know how he'll be post-Governator but Knoxville makes for a fun movie. (Walking Tall) And Z06 plus fireworks. Promised Land does look good with that Jim guy from the Office vs Damon but probably just see both via Netflix. Eventually.

Thanks. After doing a lot of research, Rugers are loved by all and there were few pros from Buckmark owners, besides more large hand friendly. That may help if Rugers don't feel right although they seem to accomodate most. I wanted to read up on the Sig and S&W, but found little positive words about them. I got the next couple weeks free so I'll shop about with all the feedback I found.

I am expecting Promise Land to nothing more than a Hatchet Job on the industry in general , a more main steam, Drama version of Gas Land. Ugghhhh. As much as I hate it the idea of supporting another Damon movie in the theater, I will prolly go see it just to get a handle on it see how bad it really portrays the industry. Because there is little doubt in my mind that there will be WAY too many people that will be using this as a basis for there perception of the industry. Just like how many suburbanites and politicos base their perception of firearms and knives by what they see in the movies.





As far as a Sig 22. Your better off getting a real center fire (if a sig works for you in general) chambered pistol and then spending the 2-300 in addition to that for the 22LR conversions they swap in and back out in about 2 mins and you can the practice cheaper with your primary weapon. I dont have giant hands but they are big enough to get in the way sometimes and I find the MKIIIs to be fairly "roomy" for lack of a better term

Yeah I definitely wasn't set on shopping for a Sig but wanted to check out all the options. (I think a few mentioned it in thread) Pretty much most reviews rounded back to Ruger though. The grip size option and extension on the magazine foot for the SR22 might help too potentially. Most fit compaints I came across were from the P22 being a small toy in peoples hands and fat hands being bit by various hammers - so think I'll steer clear of those issues. A wide range of users from kids to adults seem happy with MkIIIs size.

TLR-1sHP from Streamlight. I was recommended surefire instead from here, and I read nothing but good stuff about them, but the price was too high for the wishlist. But I'm very pleased with it, its got a really good distance, but the corona is great too for shorter distances.
