Yea, MoCo has about 5 police officers for every 1 citizen.

It's so odd, since I've been in Manassas I can go almost an entire week without seeing a single cop.

On topic, just noticed the RRA Car A4 kits just jumped up in price. This is my sad face.

Hey guys I need a tad of help from experienced shooters.

I'm in the market for a new 30.06
I have an old savage that rusted out and I'd rather not deal with trying to repair it. I'm going to hang it up for decoration in the garage. It's a 20yr old

I do most of my stuff in extremely humid climates. This is pointing me towards stainless steel. My eyes are on two rifles right now.

          1. Remington 700 stainless
          2. Tikka t3
          3. Savage

What do you guys think? I'll be inside 700yd and shooting paper-deer.

Vtec while the 700 is little less expensive and generally a good choice I would get a T3 all day every day if it were my money. I might even consider putting a little more cash with it and jumping up to a Sako my self..................... I love Sako's

Appreciate the input. I've heard the same thing from my brother. I will follow this advise.

The smith at bass pro was really pushing the stainless T3 saying it outshot any gun in-and-above its price range.

Have you played with one yourself? For the price I got it for and everything that came with it I could double my money if I decide to sell it. In just breaking down and checking everything out, it seems well built. The slide is smother than my kimber and the trigger is glass.

I plan on taking it to the range today and shooting it. See how much of a poopoo it truly is :)

I have played with a few, I'm kinda a 1911 fanatic. My old kimber was pretty nice, but the newer ones in the last 5 years are not so good. I just picked up a citadel 1911 for super cheap and it's comparable to the newer kimbers and Sig 1911, it's my throw away piece... SA is where it's at for me, without going into the high end market.

I just took it to the range, and unfortunately they would not allow photography inside the range. The gun shot flawless and was smooth as silk. At 10 yards, 5 shots inside a 50 cent piece. Ran about 150 rounds though it tonight. Going next week to another range. Ill try to get picks then. But again for the price I picked it up for, I think I did quite good for a good shooter!

sig makes a great 1911. Yes, they arent traditional looking, and some stuff is different dimensions, but they make a damn fine pistol. I would be proud to own that Tacops

^that. Im no expert but have shot a fair share of 1911 platforms, I really liked the Sig for the few times I got to squeeze the trigger.
