^ 'decent lower profile' do you mean upgrade the lower parts or were you complimenting mine lol

I've tossed the idea around of a red dot but I really want to have something with some sort of reticle or a bullet drop built into the reticle. Basically I want a little more than just a dot. I know EoTech makes their new reticles with a dot or two for drop, but every EoTech i've looked at had a fuzzy reticle, not sure if thats just because they weren't focused or something?

He was saying a "Lower profile red dot"

Personally, I love iron sights. But if I had money to blow I would pick up an optic for it. That, or as he said, get yer $200 tax stamp and drop a grand.

So I emailed a few local lawyers that are known as DGU attorneys in the Phoenix area asking for business cards. Marc Victor's office sent my cards in this:

Fuck yeah, I think he's my guy.

I have a friend in town from Washington who just got this new Ruger 1911. We went to the gun show last weekend and picked him up a new gun case, new Houge grips and a Chip Mc Cormick high cap mag. Going to the range this weekend to sight in his new toy.

He's the guy who represented Pastor Steven Anderson in his police brutality case, did a good job. I might need to request his info as well.

Red dots are not meant for ranges that necessitate a 'bullet drop' calculation. At that distance the dot itself would encompass 6+ inches. They are generally not magnified, they are for distances (IMO) of less than 100yds. Personally I have a Vortex Strikefire, similar to an AimPoint that is far less expensive with far less battery life, still a great option for <$200. Holographic sights are cool I guess, but I wouldn't drop the cash unless I had nothing else to spend it on (will never happen).

This was nicely put for me honestly. Has anyone else checked this out:

I like it a lot, for the reticle and for the compactness, but I live in Northern VA FFS, I just can't say I'd ever really be ever to really utilize it. Bah, maybe I should just spend the money on my M&P instead.

                        Yeah, that's a scope, not a red dot. ;)

I want to shoot my Ak so bad, but my local range doesn't allow steel core ammo.

They have non magnetic wolf 7.62x39, but I refuse to pay $20 a box. That price kinda defeats one of the purposes of having an Ak47 in the first place.

Head out this way and we'll go desert shooting, way better than indoor ranges anyway.
