I don't know, I just haven't really thought about it much. I need to plan a day where I go out and shoot things. Then maybe I'll shoot it.

PSA has ATI 12 ga shotguns on sale for $99, just ordered one. Hard to beat that price.

Wow, that is a deal and a half. Shipping times at PSA will now be 5 months plus! Good find!

So I might be skimming the thread and not reading everything... :(

sorry- it's just that the question "why?" seems to refer to his statement "I suck".

if he has had a new rifle that long without shooting it, he must be gay.;)

          ergo, that's why he sucks.

all this just joking, of course.

Work cut our 4th of July shift in half to "give us time to spend with our families." Motherfucker, I can do that any day. I want my 10 hours of time and a half!

You are lucky. We have to work a full 8 hour shifts with standard pay.

Just buy an Anderson or PSA stripped lower for $50-60 now and start piecing it together. You don't really need any special tools to assemble a lower. I'd suggest not waiting much longer, as we approach the election prices will start to rise again, especially if we get a Dem front runner.

Our usual shifts are 10 hours. We have 6 paid holidays a year. They pay us 8 hours regardless of if we work, and every hour worked on the actual holiday is time and a half. It's nice, but I hate when they announce that they're cutting the shift after I've already told everybody I had to work. They did it on Thanksgiving last year the fucking day before, so I ended up at home alone until midnight with nothing to do.

Sorry, long winded rant. Amazon takes good care of us though lol

Yeah but I really wanted that $150 complete lower. Do they even still have that? lol I guess now I can buy an aluminum lower.

Hmm, I might be able to swing this. Does anyone have experience with buying online? Do I need to notify the FFL prior to making the order?

Yeah you will need to let them know that you are ordering a lower and having it shipped to you. You will also need the FFL number for them to contact and verify if I am not mistaken

I've bought 3 rifles online. If your dealer is in the database you don't need to do anything.

^ Yup, most legitimate gun stores (FFL) and online retailers are already set up.

It's hard to go wrong on a first/budget AR build, if you don't like the stock or grip you can always change it out later. Same with the trigger. Just for shits and giggles, here's my perfect AR budget build (<$800).

                            16” CHF FN mid upper - $310 (PSA/Aim)
                            ACS-L complete lower - $200 (PSA)
                            BCG (NiB) - $100 (Aim)
Charging handle (BCM) - $45 (Aim)
                            Slap plate - $20 (Aim)
Magpul MOE mid handguard - $33 (Aim)
Magpul MBUS Black - $48 (Amazon)
                            Stock wrench - $6 (JBO)
                            Complete build - $761

Here's the "budget" AR I'm going to build for 3 gun. :D

slickguns.com is a good place that covers a bunch of retailers. What are you thinking about picking up?
