I thought it was right handed flinch/trigger jerking=low left.

Try squeezing the trigger more carefully, and do some dry fire training, when dry firing the sights shouldn't move at all...

Yeah i think poor trigger pull is down left for righties, which could be the culprit. I did make a very concerted effort to make sure i wasnt flinching anticipating recoil. I dont think I was, as the recoil did not feel as snappy as my 9mm, and I did try some slow squeeze trigger pulls to figure out if it was me (stilll very possible)or the sights. I was missing more down than left in between the 6-7 area. Just wondered if anyone else has had that experience with the tactical sights. Gonna have some better more experienced guys shoot it and ill report back.
The ammo was 230gr WW box

I also wondered and thought if it would be less pronouced at the 15yrd target ( being the raised sights would have less effect at greater distances.

On a side note the vp9 is in a different league than the old g19 I had. I strongly recommend anyone in the market for that size striker fire 9mm shoot a vp9.

What I always do is dry fire the trigger a few times to get a feel for the break, then move on to actually firing the gun.

If you have a friend who shoots have them try it to, or a range master if they are willing, to check and make sure its you and not the sights.

Edit: Yeah people buy Vp9s im serious they are the fucking shit.

If I didn't need an AK with every fiber of my being Id have bought a VP9.

I liked the VP9 but I have two gripes: the night sights are kinda shitty (but honestly fuck night sights) and I liked the trigger in my PPQ better. To be fair, my Walther was thoroughly broken in while the VP9 was still <500rds. Also the mag release paddles on the Walther were longer than on the VP9. Not a huge deal, but I have big hands so the VP9 was kinda hard to reach.

                Also (for right handed shooters):

One of my biggest issues when learning was pushing my head forward towards the gun and pointing my elbows out to the side. Usually I'd hit low and sometimes right of where I'm aiming. I learned to bring the gun up to my face and point my elbows down to the ground and I'm much better off now.

^pretty much everything I have read has said the vp9 trigger is second only to the walther when it comes to striker fire pistols. Never shot a walther ppq but they seem to be the universal benchmark for strikerfire 9mm from what I have researched. Actually most of what i read, is the vp9 is a pretty blatant copy of the ppq.

I have a friend that has a PPQ and switched to it from his G19. He loves the trigger. I have yet to be able to try it out.

Finally got my Rifle, Took it out and shot ~150 rounds through it. Not a single malfunction, even with the garbage tapco magazine. Was target at 50-100 yards, shot some 1/4 tannerite and bowling pins at ~75-100yds without to much of an issue, I was impressed I did so well it being 4-5 Years since I actually shot a rifle.

That's a good looking gun. I'd love to see it in action.

Its super fun to shoot, recoil is minimal but the 2900 FPS round makes quite a crack, and punches through a lot more then I expected. If I move back to Washington Ill stop buy to shoot some, stiggy.

Edit: If you move back to Wa come over to my house, we can shoot there haha

Poly furniture, green sling, cleaning rod and cleaning kit and I'm probably done.

Got my Founding Fathers lower installed. Love it. I think the color really adds some pop to the gun.
