if you slip it will mark the lower. Its just best to use a set of channel locks with tape wrapped over the teeth of the CL. Then just press the pins in. Much faster and safer.

Exactly the kind of advice I was hoping for. Very much appreciated!

Also any suggestions on 3rd floor apartment friendly safes?

With my current job and financial stability, my firearm collections is rapidly growing... Bringing concerns of where to put all if it. A pistol safe will help, but still leaves me with the issue of rifles, which worry me even more.

Once we buy a house I will get a large safe with an extremely heavy door. For the apartment I'm thinking a less expensive solution to hold 8 rifles or so, and load it up with ammo for weight.

          Thoughts?

You have an elevator to get to the 3rd floor?

No elevators, which eliminates a "real" safe.

Also, just went to my local shop...

I am having a hard time convincing myself to not go back and purchase the new 6920 they had in there.....

Talk me into it, or out of it, I don't care.

Thank you, Was wanting to do a PSA build, but waiting for the blem lowers and then the lpk's was just taking too long :D Plus waiting for the CHF uppers to be in the $399 range, which I still might do.

Heard great things about these guns and had a friend that bought one for $780 a few weeks ago. Cant go wrong with a major branded AR under $600

On another note for anybody that signs up for a yearly range membership, how much do you pay?
Locally there are two ranges I'm a member of. One is $45 a year, small range, 4 pistol bays, 5 100yd benches. Also an indoor range with 6 bays, only open 1 night a week.
The other is technically 2 different ranges, $105 per year. Had a 300yd range with several benches, a 100 yd range with a few benches and an enclosed pistol range with a few bays.

thank you! For being my first AR I already had ammo from a training class that I took and they said to bring about 50rds of .223 for the course.

Any of the tuckable hybrids will do, but I'm a fan of the Galco King Tuk. I know Crossbreed makes a tuckable appendix holster. So does Comp-Tac.

The patented KingTuk provides the best of both worlds: the comfort of a leather IWB with the speed and easy holstering of Kydex construction.

The leather backed holsters are more comfortable to long term IWB carry, in my opinion.

Oh how I missed my AR. I still haven't shot my AK yet and I think I may just keep it that way, then sell when the time is right. The AR just feels right to me. I can't wait to head to the range!

                              Anyone see this :)

Senator Leland Yee, one of the biggest cocksuckers to the bay area and California arrested in a FBI sting. He is one of the Authors of some of the tightest gun laws in California.

Bitch should hang by his balls!

Powerful Democratic politician swept up in series of raids along with former Chinatown gangster Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow

An FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint against Yee and 25 other people reveals the lawmaker is accused of conspiracy to deal firearms and wire fraud.

Maybe the voters of Commiefornia will start to see what we've been telling them all along.
