What's better than Smashing Pumpkins tickets?

Why, winning a pair for free on the radio, of course! Yep, yours truly just won a pair of tickets to see them in September. I be stoked.

92.7 here in Bend. I had to call in and identify the name of the Pumpkins song they were playing, it was Zero.

Not really a Smashing Pumpkins fan, but I must say that Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is a phenomenal album. Good job winning those tickets!

I agree. The only tolerable thing would be finding a Delorean with a flux capacitor so you could go back to a time when Gish was just released a few months ago. They've blown monkey lips pretty much since Siamese Dream.

And at one time they were my favorite band. Back in the day I got a free smashing Pumpkins ticket, still have it, it's a piece of cardboard. They played a small show at a club called the double door in chicago to preview monotanous and the infinite crapness. Only about four hundred people per show in a cool Venue. Waste of time, I gave up on them after that.

I'm glad you agree. Gish is probably one of the great albums, Siamese dream, awesome. Pisces Iscariot...pretty good. After that ='s the suck.

Good for you Josh if you can stomach the new crap. Bring some pepto and maybe a shitload of booze would help too. Congrats if your into it.

The way I look at it the new Smashing Pumpkins are kinda like the Doobie Brothers without the Doobies.
