    Movie review...The Deer Hunter (1978)

    Just watched it tonight on a whim...

    Very boring for the first hour - (like much '70 movies)

    The last half blew my mind..I'll never forget it. Involves man "stuff", hunting, - and friendship

    ....not to ruin it for you.

    PS - we need a "good" movie thread...

      My favorite line is This is this. When the guy that was Fredo in Godfather wants Denero's character's extra boots. Denero says This is this.

      Hilarious. What happens later not so much, it is a great film.
