When I saw the story on the news about the hardware store owner who refused to sell this kid a funnel and plastic tubing for what he said was a "school project" I thought that the store owner was too paranoid. I now understand why he refused to sell the stuff.

Its not that I ever had a problem with teenagers making beer bongs but I surely wouldn't want to be the guy that sold the kid everything he needed in order to be able to consume ¾ of a gallon of beer (or the equivalent of 7 drinks) in less than 30 seconds and then die from alcohol poisioning.

The first time I took alcohol through a funnel, I was 16 and didn't even use beer. We had a 6 foot beerbong filled with rum and coke. Unfortunatly it didn't mix too well, so I ended taking 3 feet of Captain and 3 feet of Coke as a chaser... good times...
