I'm getting alot of this now with selling my vega. People can't read or they don't read the ad. Like i got it posted that it has been blasted and is down to bare metal. And that it is a rolling chassis with a fresh 383 shortblock and the heads are not on it and that the heads need to be freshend up. And that the motor is not in the car. People still call and ask what color the car is and how fast it is what does the motor sound like. When they start to ask me those questions, i ask back if they read the ad? And they reply like, duhh what? It's like come on people ..

The non-reader questions that I always get relate to the shipping.

I ship many of my items for free. In every listing I indicate that the seller pays for shipping, and then under shipping costs I put down $0.00, and then I indicate that I ship free to the 48 continental united states. Someone always asks me what it costs to ship the item.

The last time someone asked me that I said, "If you are the winning bidder, I will ship it for free. If not, I will charge double for shipping."

Not a biggie, I've seen drag radials pull the wheels, just dial the chassis in. My Nova pulled the wheels with 9.50 slicks. Are we the only muscle car geeks here? I like my IX, but I need something loud, obnoxious, and over the edge once in a while.

I think that there is a few other muscle car people on here, but they don't say nothing. I was talking to the PO of the vega that i got and he was telling me about it. He said with the motor that i got for it is similer to that was in it, it ran in the low 10's and it did pull the wheels out of the hole about a 1' 1/2 off of the ground. So i'll see what it will do when it is done. If i deside to keep it.

I'm still itching to drop in a aluminum headed 502 the boss has laying around at work, along with a 9" out back in my IX. Something to piss off the purists with. I actually have it planned out already.
