klipsch 2.1 vs klipsch 5.1

Great system. Definitely get the 5.1

I disagree. I have DVD-A and SACD playback in my living room. I have about 20 surround disks, even some that are highly regarded. I am just a 2 channel kind of guy.

Movies, however, are a different story altogether.

I dunno man, I have the same stuff, and I flat out love Metallica S&M in DVD-a. Those big kettle drums in the orchestra are unreal when you get the reverb in the surrounds. Plus there's something extra in there that you get tones down below audible that literally shake my sheetrock on the studs in the house - I never get that off my CD's. Deep bass, sure - but this literally is just air pulsing around you & the sound of the dog barking (must be driving him insane) & the sheetrock slapping the studs throughout the house. Kinda cool, in a immature sort of way.

My SACD is only stereo, so I can't give an opinion on 5.1 SACD.
