SMOG again?!

My registration is going to expire in october, last year I bought the car as is and it passed smog. Now, the dmv registration is asking me to take the car again to a smog station. WTF?!

I thought it was every 2 years for old cars, not every year.

you smogged it for the transfer of title. Im pretty sure thats not applicable towards your smog you have to do every 2 years.

That makes sense, the clock doesn't reset when it's smogged for a transfer of ownership. Well, engine is still all stock and hopefully ansa cat back won't affect it.

That would make two of us. I'm not due to smog until next June but I bet you I'll have to take some steps prior to the test (tune up, oil change, CRC Guaranteed To Pass in the tank, maybe SeaFoam the mofo too). Definately pulling out the JC chip.

You gotta love/hate California.
