HELP! Can't enable security on my home wireless network

No matter how many times I try or what I do it won't change my damn network to secure! Has anyone else experienced this shit or can they tell me what I may be doing wrong? Thanks

I do it directly through my router's firmware. Your router's manual should show you how to do it, or you could find it on Google (what I did).

    RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Are you using Linksys equipment? Their wireless stuff sucks.

if you're using linksys, then the best way is to go to their "personal router" website (the one used to setup the router) and change it from there.

If that doesn't work, then it might be the OS freakin out. Good luck with you're pc endeavors. windows rocks

Type http://192.168.0.1 into your IE address bar.

This should bring up the settings for your router

Are you in another country? There are bans on encryption tech in other countries.
