    Reupholstery???

Anyone ever get this done? does it look as good as the factory?

    with this cloth.... http://www.bmwmregistry.com/faq/E30_...tevo_seats.jpg

Nope. I don't know anyone who has that as an interior - what is it?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

That's a factory BMW E30 M3 Sport Evo interior. Those are true Recaro seats, and that's the famous Sport Evo cloth. It looks AWESOME in person.

You can buy the cloth if you search around on the internet, and have an upholsterer re-do your interior with it. Extra points for you if you buy a set of Recaro SRD's / Speed's and have it done.

Maybe I wasn't clear.... I am interested if anyone has every had their seats re-done, in any cloth.... just curious how well it turns out, in comparison to the factory....

The cloth is just the type I plan to use....

It all depends on who you take it too. I had a set done for a 67 Dodge Coronet. The guy didn't do a very good job. But other shops do high quality work, just not the guy i went too :-x.

            Depends who does it.

Kevin Chinn, owner of Creative Options, is in Atlanta, GA and does fantastic work. He is absolutely OCD when it comes to aligning seams, etc --- he can do just about anything you'd like, from custom colors and cloths to french seams and so on.

Or PM him - Tricked 323i

i had bad luck with kevin. i sent him a dash to do over a year ago. he kept it more than a year and never completed it. when i finally was fed up and asked for my dash back it took 3 months to get it back and it came back cracked. it was cracked when it was sent down there but it had numerous new cracks when it was finally returned. then he had the balls to ask me to pay the shipping back to me. i wouldnt recommend him

Obviously not being aware of the details, my guess is that it was a one-time occurrence. I have seen Kevin's work on a number of cars, and it always looks spectacular. At very least, shoot him an e-mail and see what he can do for you.

ive been to kevins in atlanta and have done business in the past with him. i considered him a friend. his lack of professionalism in the way he runs his business was a real shock considering i have met him face to face . this went on your over a year with my emailing and calling and all i got was a run around. i was really disappointed and all im doing is relaying my experiences. if he would have treated me fairly i would relay that as well

                        Steve,
I am not going to get a pissing match with you about your dash. I have emails stating I would try to get it covered in leather but it did not turn out the way I wanted it. I figure with the $300 I spent in leather to try to get it done ( which I was going to just charge you cost of leather no labor to do your dash) I would get to keep it. I never recieved any money from you. If you were a customer and not a friend I would have required half down to even tackle it. Since I could not get it done you told me never mind I am going to send my other dash to just dashes. Then you tell me just dashes it too expensive and that you want your dash back. The only thing on the dash were the layout lines and cuts (which I told you) where I was going to glue. If it was more cracked then before you should have contacted me and I could have made a claim with the shipping company.

                          Hey Kevin,

Not to interrupt, but how good does the finished product look? I am looking for OEM quality... is that asking too much?

                            Mark,
NP everyone seems to like my products. I would suggest finding someone local to do your Speeds or SRD's. Check out their work first then decide. Here are a few of my kits installed by a first time customers. And my cabrio as well.

Something tells me if you actually search the forums (especially the 'interior' one), you might find someone who has done this. Call it a hunch.
