All I can think of is Fear and loathing when they pick up the hitch hiker!
"A convertable, I have never been in a convertable"
Do you pickup hitch hikers?

Have given rides, taken one...
How would you like it for someone else to not give you a ride in the middle of Oklahoma desert?
Don't pick up dorks or jerks. Helps if you carry a hidden pistol.Leave a comment:

Thats awesome. That reminds me of when my neighbor got nailed for solcitiation of prostitution and impersonating a police officer. He was trying to pick up a prostitute who was a "real" police officer working under cover. He started talking prices and then she asked, "Are you a cop?" He said, "Yes. As a matter of fact I am. Unless you wanna go downtown you better go..ahem..'downtown' before I change my mind."
The long and short of it was that the judge found the story to be so hillarious that he decided to drop the charges in exchange for community service.Leave a comment:

LOLHere's a little story.
A couple of years ago. I was driving in my 2002 along a main boulevard in downtown Montreal. Then, at a bus stop, I see a 30 year old lady hitch hiking. I thought that perhaps she just missed the bus and wanted to get somewhere quick. So I stopped and asked the lady to get in. She did not look any sexy or ugly. Just normal.
I started the car and drove away, asking here when was last bus and where she was going. She looked at me and said something like "I don't think you get it. Perhaps it is better you stop me right here."
What did I say? Was I offensive? Then, after I stopped and dropped her after a 1 minute ride, I suddenly got it. She was a prostitute, pretending to hitch hike to "fool" the law. Damn. Am I innocent.
So, from now on, I never give rides too anyone within the city's limits.

Why not just skitch a ride? LOL.I have picked up a few, pretty much always when i have a buddy in the car. I have done it a few times but in towns that i know. I skated around today for about an hour and found myself very downhill from my house. I stuck my thumb up for less than a min but my mom drove by and picked me up so that doesnt count. Its a good way to get around.Leave a comment:
