Haha awesome, I loved cross country until I hit college. 5K?! Why don't the girls have to run 5K's always bugged me.

Our team chant before the race was always us huddled together and we would say "I don't give a fuuuuuuuuuck!" and we'd be on our way.

Huh? What did the girls run? I did XC in HS as well. Both girls and boys had to do the same course, which was right around 5K. Our school had pretty short shorts. Our coach wore these shorts, and every year, without fail, he's show us how to do some leg stretches early in the season, and his package would fall out onto the warm pavement.

High school cross country is 3K for everyone.
College is 5K for guys, 3K for girls.

Thats how it is for everyone, and as for your coach, I know we've had the same experiences... :(

Um, you sure that's not in miles? We did 5Ks all the time, which is 3.1 miles.

OK I looked it up, that's how bored I am at work. Men's collegiate courses must be between 8K to 10K, women's 5K to 8K.

Oh yeah, you are correct. It was 5K in high school, 8K college for dudes. I was getting miles and Kilometers mixed up.

I did XC and Indoor and outdoor track for my school. But when I took a job before school junior year I had no time to get back in shape. If you don't train at all even for two months, you can't get back in shape again.:hitler:

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.
