The mechanic I refer to on the super long post said that I'd never get it to pass inspection. My wife also said many times that it was a dumb purchase that will never run. So it became my goal to prove to myself that I can save it, and of course to win the husband/wife argument over the car. I ended up getting it to pass the very strict german inspection with flying colors, and it drove fantastically! My wife will never admit it, but I think she kind of liked driving it too:rofl:
