The guy actually offered to pay right off the bat. But, we didn't have the right plug, and didn't want to risk blowing the breaker.

Yeah, the shop didn't have one. The guy did have a shit ton of extra plugs and adapters, but any he could have used would have taken too long, or blown the breaker, and we can't get to it.

Can you charge those things while running? Was wondering if we can get a really serious gas powered generator in the back of a huge diesel truck and then rrun a cord back to the electric car. It would sort of be like the in-flight fueling that they use for fighter jets.

Good story Newman, reminds me of all the after work "adventures" we had when I worked as an abseiling building maintenance technician (glorifed window washer). It was super hairy when we on the wrong side of a 40 storey building replacing window panes when the wind got up!

I had a ton of them on my phone but that phone broke. I emailed them all to him when he got out of the hospital. I will see if he still has them. He came around a turn onto a bridge and hit black ice. Hit both sides of the bridge before going off road into the woods. He was actually about 10 feet off the road, and about 8 foot off the ground wedged between 2 trees. That pic is after they winched it from the woods onto the shoulder of the road. Its sitting on the embankment about 15 feet from where he went off road.
He broke his pelvis in 3 places and had to re-learn to walk. But went out and bought a 2003 Camaro Z-28 that was faster than the SS after all that!
