Are you sure that the cafe owner(s) did not build it that way as a joke and to see who caught on and made comments?
I mean they could have used two nails to toenail it properly and then said "check this out" and just kept hammering in new nails at all kinds of fucked up angles.
There are just too many nails that dont contact both boards for someone to be making a serious effort. Or someone was drunk, high, and blind.

got my silver ix up and running. this one is manual. :)
i bought it last march iirc. broken timing belt, trashed head. new head on it, completely redone. 5 angle valve job. been working on it slowly. had to redo several things, like the intake manifold. but eventually i got it all squared away. she drives very nicely. shifts really smoothly. AC condenser was removed and the AC line cut, so that will have to be redone. next spring though. she pulls very nicely too. havent had a chance to really play with it yet though, i need to tag it. :nice:
im going to take this e30 far. i already have a set of BBS RSs for it. big plans.
