This was last month, less than five minutes after leaving Akron-Canton airport for Fort Myers. I was just about to go to sleep when I looked out the window and saw an amazing view. A few seconds before this it was just a perfectly even, orange beam of light the length of the horizon. It only lasted about 45 seconds and I had to wait for my phone to turn on.

The moon at 12:00am January 1st standing on the beach on Sanibel Island, FL facing the Gulf of Mexico.
It was about 72 degrees at midnight. Suck it.Comment

Funny. I had a friend on Sanibel at the same time. She complained mightily about the midges (sand flees, biting mini-flys). She left Jan 1 after being there for about a month.1987 E30 325is
