Its funny how when I was in my early 20's I wished I was in my 30's so I could do all of the "party animal" stuff without being questioned or hassled. Now I have no desire to do any of that. I mean I can go into the liquor store and buy 10 kegs of beer, 8 bottles of vodka, 4 bottles of VSOP and box of Reunite and the only thing that the clerk will say about it is, "That will be $875.22, sir."

But when I was in college it was like, "Can I see some ID? Why do you need all of this alcohol? We need a $200 deposit on each keg. I'm sorry but I can't sell you all of this without authorization from the manager"

If I wanted to have a party in 2 adjoining hotel rooms, I couldn't get away with it at 22. Now I can rent the entire wing of a hotel without them asking me anything.. but I have no desire to do that anymore.

You've pretty much just answered your own question, or why they questioned you when you were younger and why young people can't do stupid shit like that.
