Anyone ever see Alien Ressurection, that part when Jonner was climbing up that ladder and there's a big giant spider in a web right in his face, and he whips out his gun and fucking SHOOTS IT? Best part of the movie.

Huge spider at work today, I think it crawled out of a customers car when I brought it down. Saw it trying to run across the floor towards behind my bench, without thinking I quickly whipped out the spray bottle of Wheel Acid I had been using the night before and shot that mofo 9 times. Needless to say, he didn't get far after that. That stuff (diluted) will eat through a pop can within a few hours. :D

I don't mind spiders, it's the ones that's bigger then a silver dollar that i don't like. And when i'm parting out a parts car that's been sitting since the 70's is when i look for something to craw or land on me.

i'm dealing with a black widdow problem in my garage and around the house. all my neighbors have this issue. the brown widdows are just as abundant. ive never seen this many! within the last year, i'd say i've killed at least 15. Most of them larger than a dime.

There are lots of spiders in my garage. I can occasionally feel them crawling on me while I'm under the car. As long as they stay outa my face, I don't care. Mostly just hungry female Wolf Spiders looking for a meal. Haven't seen any Black Widows here in SW Ohio.

Apparently it's quite impossible, at least in the US, to get more than a few feet from a spider-they're everywhere. If they all went away, we'd be utterly overrun with bugs.

i got one of those near my front door right now... a bit bigger than that tho.

in the swamp at my parents, we have these wolf spiders ive seen that the leg span of around 5 inches. they blend right in with the cypress tree bark so you put your hand on the tree and the bark fucking moves, creepy.

I had to wash it down, that stuff will stain the floor if you leave it sit for too long, but it probably would have totally dissolved him quickly. I'll try to catch a few, they're everywhere in the shop at this time of the year, see how long they can survive in a container of Acid. :p
