        Smart man

I'm sober now for 3 years. Best decision I have ever made.

10 years is big. You made a life altering decision and stuck with it.

        Congrats!

What more advice do you need than that? Words to live by.

Nothing wrong with a drink now and then, but you have to be able to control it.

That's part of the reason why I don't serve alcohol at any of my parties. Seeing many of my friends' lives go down the drain over alcoholism is hard enough. I am not going to be the judge of who can or who can not handle their liquor, however, I do not want to be a contributor to someone's demise. I have one friend who is an alcoholic in denial and the last time he came over for a party, every 20 minutes he kept saying, "Damn! Are you SURE that there is no alcohol here? I WANT SOME ALCOHOL."

congradulations Luke. There is alchoholism in my family, so i have always taken it easy on the booze. I wish some ppl in my family would move in your direction.

Wow, Congrats man. My dad was an alcaholic and has been with AA for for about 5 years now. I know how it is to live with an alcaholic and I know what you have/are going through, as I have seen it first hand. Good luck and keep up the good work.
