I would no longer be with us, if that were I.

27 stings would have taken me the out.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but be thankful that you are not allergic! :)

I tripped face first into an underground hive of yellow jackets as a kid. They stung/bit whatever they do in my lips, eyelids, neck, inside my nose. I had an even bigger head than I have now. I cried for two days straight. Still have nightmares about that.

Ive never been stung by a bee and because of that I have no fear of them either. I just figure that they cant fly faster than I can run. I hope that shit doesn't happen to me.

                Eff that shit.

We had a bunch of those mud daubers all over our shop, so I spray them with wasp killer (carb cleaner and penetrating oil to keep them from coming back) It took about 10 times to finally get them to give up building new nests, persistent little buggers!

We're about to airify/seed the golf course, I think I'll try for sand dumping duty ;)

this is true. i stayed @ my familys motel in Japan near Mt.Fuji rite on a lake, and there were mad bugs in general. well there were also gigantic wasps, EVERYWHERE. after about 2 weeks, i got soo sick of running like a lil girl from all the wasps, that i decided to hunt down the nests. well they dont have 1 huge nest, instead they have a bunch of small nests like the size of a hand grenade, which house about 20 wasps each. well, i got a bug spray that comes in an aerosol can with a trigger, and doused a nest, they came out angry, i ran like lil girl, didnt work. soo, i got a torch, the same trigger style bug spray, and went back and flame thrower style nailed the nest, which caught fire, and wasps came out again, only this time they were on fire AND flying at me, BUT they died this time. i searched/torched about 5 nests, and after that there were significantly fewer wasps, so i guess mission succesful for the 3 months i was there....:D

I used to live in CT, I was at the town green one summer for a concert and stepped on a nest. They where all over my feet and legs, it couldn't walk for 24 hours because my feet swelled up so badly. sucked big time.
